HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!

Mike, the girls, and I celebrated my 30th birthday this past Saturday at Cracker Barrel. Mike's two sisters and their families came along as well. It was a nice time!!

Katie unfortunately has been very sick this past week. A trip to the doctor's on Tuesday with tummy pain (they did an xray and determined her plumbing is a bit stopped up)-we were told what meds to give her to help it. Thursday night-she still wasn't back to normal and her stomach hurt worse. we were concerned about appendix issues so we took her to the emergency room. they did a ct scan and found that she was moderately stopped up-the gave us stronger medication but it was too much for her and caused her to run!! that lasted 24 hours then she went right back to being stopped up again. seemed ok on saturday and sunday-enjoyed going to dinner with us. Monday am (early-around 3a) she came into my room shivering and crying telling me she didn't feel good. checked her temp and it was a whopping 105.2!! we once again went back to the emergency room. they ran tests for strep and flu (both came back negative) along w/doing xrays of her chest and stomach. chest came back with infection (dr thinks minimal pneumonia) and she is still quite stopped up. she has a follow up appointment with her dr on friday-i'm praying hard she's back to normal by then. pray for her please-she's had a rough week!!
